The AMS Safety Slide is a proven performer time and time again with hundreds of thousands of fish taken, including many big game fish over 300#.  Simply nock your arrow with the Safety Slide in front of your arrow rest. Tighten the line on your Retriever between the reel and the Safety Slide and push the line into the Line Retainer found on the side of your reel. As you draw, the Safety Slide will stay stationary as the arrow moves back. When the shot is released, the slide moves back to the tail of the arrow and stops at the Shock Pad allowing the line to trail for perfect arrow flight.

This system, if used properly, ensures that your fish line will never tie itself to the bowstring! The AMS Safety Slide System keeps all of the line in front of the rest when you draw, preventing the fish line from tangling with the bowstring.
