In 2008 STAN released the SX2 using a new searing mechanism and two piece handle designed to provide the ultimate in release aid functionality and reliability. The robust and crisp searing mechanism was so popular that we built the new Shootoff! around the very same searing mechanism. Both release aids use STAN's proprietary ErgoFit Technology to facilitate cross training between the backtension and trigger release aids.

-Like the SX2, the Shootoff! employs a MPT2 knob system that is adjustable for projection, tilt, and thumb angle.

-Heat treated 440 internal sear components are hardened to a wear proof 62 Rockwell and are infinitely adjustable for trigger tension and travel WITHOUT changing springs!
